Of the multitudes of tribute bands that perform in clubs, casinos, weddings, corporate,
and private events, there are very few that truly provide a full package
of entertainment. “80 Degrees” is one of the few bands in the country that offers
more than just a band playing music. In addition to this thematic era of music,
they have put together a complete show including choreography, multiple costume
changes, characterizations, comedy, trivia, games, video presentation, hi-tech
lighting and effects. Today, the music of the eighties has gained high popularity as it highlights a variety of styles including New Wave, R&B, Disco, Heavy Metal, etc. From this popularity sprung a lot of eighties themed cover bands that usually only specialize in one or two areas of styles. The “80 Degrees” band has made it point to perform all the styles of music in the show from R& B/Pop artists such as Prince, Michael Jackson, Madonna to the new wave sounds of groups such as Depeche Mode and Oingo Biongo to heavy metal big hair bands like Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi. In most cases a band will have only one lead singer/ frontperson. In addition to capturing all the styles of music from this era..the members of the band all sing, dance and perform which adds even more versatility and variety to the show. The “80 Degrees” band members also provide characterizations or likeness of the actual artists...being amazing impersonators in their own right for prestigious events and celebrity parties. With most bands you get just the music..which of course is the most important! However with “80 Degrees”, it has been our vision to bring another dynamic to the table that really helps the audience re-capture and re-live the incredible eighties era. We do this with some jokes and comedy as well as trivia and games to have the audience actually interact with the band. If you ask what is the one thing that really sets us apart from other bands? The answer would be our high energy level on stage with constant movement and interaction with the audience. This not only shows that each member of the band really enjoys what they do but more importantly, keeps the audience enthusiasm at its peak! |
Kixie Ciccone (Lead Vocalist and Keyboards) Kixie is not only the explosive lead vocalist for 80 Degrees but is also a world-class celebrity impersonator. Her role as Madonna has recently taken her to Japan where she appeared before an audience of 50,000. Kixie can recreate the many looks and signature performances from the 80's, complete with authentic costumes and styles. Her sound and energy attest to the audience that....Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! Princeton Rains (Lead Guitarist and Vocals) The Artist formerly known as "Princeton" is the guitarist/vocalist for 80 Degrees who is responsible for capturing the big 80's sounds with his musical arsenal. His flair and stage persona is only matched by his fiery guitar work and upper-lip twitches. Like most rockers, he has been kicked out of the Breakfast Club because he couldn't get there before 10:30am. Thriller (Bass and Vocals) Thriller is definitely an 80's style performer,developed by Jahmforce.com High Performance Laboratories and the Pop King Prince. His style fuses the Glam Rock along with the performance style of Motley Crew , Michael Jackson's Bad Boy days, Bon Jovi, and many other hip thrusting,,stage destroying rock gods. With his near 6' high octane body of pure muscle and dynamite, he is always ready to explode at any given time into awesomeness and power that have made rock stars legends. Adam Zant (Drums and Vocals) Originally from London England...Adam started playing the "traps" at an early age. He dazzled the locals with his extravagant drum rolls, spinning sticks, flash and flare.. Adam is also a fabulous singer and performer who produced his own dance production and hosted it as Master of Cermonies for his home town.
